You have a cow and you’ve been hand milking and have decided . . . IT’S TIME!!!

We’ve all had our moment when we finally decided to break into the world of Milk Machines! But if you have started your search, you’ve likely realized that there are so many choices out there! Some, of course, are better than others. Let me tell you about my story (this is my personal experience and can differ greatly from others so take it with a grain of salt) . . .

After a full season of milking, and having several girls in milk at the same time, we finally decided it was time indeed for a milk machine. So, I began my search. Like man, I started with the “less expensive” machines you can find on certain online sales platforms we all know and love. Those proved to be not strong enough and wore out quickly. I went through several versions before trying something a little more traditional. We call this next phase the era of “the claw”. The claw machines were cumbersome and constantly fell, and when one falls, the all fall, and here we go again - starting over. Milking became such a chore. Not to mention cleaning these machines. Long, drawn out, just such a “job”. The joy was being pulled right out of milking, which before machines had been such a joy for me. Then one day, a friend of mine sent me a text that changed it all. She said, “hey, have you ever heard of this?” I had not. I told her I’d check it out for us. I had already been feeling like there had to be something better. Something middle of the road. Not as crazy expensive as “the claw” machines and not as cheap as “the cheap machines”. I wanted something that was just as easy to operate as the small machine, but capable of handling the capacity of “the claw” machines. When I started looking into this magical machine she had sent me to look at that’s when I realized - this was it! It felt like the holy grail of all things milk machine!!! That’s when we decided to go on an adventure. We loaded up the car and myself, my husband and a dear, very experienced, fellow milk maid friend of mine, all took a trip to Iowa. I’m sure the fellas at EZ Animal Products may have thought I was insane when I called and said I was coming, but nonetheless, they welcomed us to meet them, show us around the facility, and introduced us to the most amazing magical milk machine I have ever used!!! I was, in fact, so impressed, that I not only bought one, I signed up then and there to become an authorized dealer so that I could introduce all of my friends and future clients to this life changing machine!
